Present Ministry Needs
First we are working at gathering funds to purchase a Toyota DBL Cab Land Cruiser Pickup. Our roads here in the Highlands of PNG or horrible and traveling the back roads into some of our tribal areas is destroying our present vehicles. We have evaluated the situation and determined that this particular vehicle would be a wise investment into the future ministries of the Highlands churches. This vehicle is costing in the area of $65,000. Currently we have about $20,000 of that purchase.
The second need we have is for the Central area is a larger vehicle that we can transport supplies, fuel, and materials to an off road location for heli shuttles into our Ramu works. Reciently we had a tribal airstrip flood which was the shuttle point for 5 of our church plants. With this flooding we don't expect to be able to use this airstrip for at least the next 2 to 3 years and that is if the local citizen decided to rebuild and maintain that strip. So the only option at this point is to shuttle from our NTMA hanger by heli into these tribal locations. The expense of this is causing extreme hardship on these families and church plants. So we are wanting to purchase a 4x4 Canter style truck. It is a large flat bed truck. This truck would allow us to gather materials and supplies in a costal town and drive them off road to a mid way point in order to have them shuttled into individual tribal locations. If this were possible it would save each Church planting area thousands of dollars.
Right now we are gathering price quotes but we are estimating this vehicle to be in or around k160,000 which at the moment would be $57,000 US.

On the personal side of needs we the Ray family do have a few areas.
First we still have some medical debt from Nikki's last episode with Kidney stones.
Next, we are sending both our girls to the Interface program this summer.
Sierra will be attending as a student and has a remaining balance to pay of $500.
Brooke is going to serve in the kitchen and has a balance remaining of $700.
